DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE
The Federal Data Processing Service (Serpro) plans to enhance its data processing capacity by constructing two new data centers in Brasília and São Paulo. Additionally, Serpro is in advanced negotiations with Telebras to utilize its data center in Brasília this year.
The initiative is driven by high demand due to the tax reform and the need for a complete government cloud structure. The estimated cost for each data center project ranges between R$ 3 billion and R$ 4 billion.
