Singapore Achieves Record Port Performance in 2025 with Digital Bunkering Adoption

In 2025, Singapore's port achieved record performance with 3.22 billion gross tonnage and 44.66 million TEUs, marking increases of 3.5% and 8.6% from the previous year. The adoption of digital bunkering by all suppliers in August contributed to marine fuel sales reaching 56.77 million tonnes, while the Maritime and Port Authority announced plans for new LNG bunker supply licenses and upgraded standards in early 2026. Recognized as the world's second largest container port, Singapore also established two new Green and Digital Shipping Corridors.
