South Chungcheong Province Signs 1.2 Trillion Won Investment Agreement for AI Data Center in Cheonan
DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE
South Chungcheong Province has signed a 1.2 trillion won investment agreement with Geumgang Co., Ltd. to build an 80MW AI data center in Cheonan City by 2029, covering approximately 102,642 square meters. The project is expected to create around 200 jobs and generate an annual economic impact of 20 billion won, aligning with the province's goal to enhance its AI and data industry ecosystem and increase AI utilization in manufacturing to 40% by 2030.
