Sri Lanka has launched an Education Digitalization Program, supported by a Chinese government grant, to enhance digital learning safety and bridge the digital divide in schools. Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya highlighted the initiative's focus on equitable access to technology, which includes establishing a national cloud data center and developing approximately 900 smart classrooms equipped with AI features. The program aims to ensure that all students benefit from modern educational resources.
