Revised plans for the Mossy Hill wind farm near Lerwick include eight turbines, maintaining the previously consented height of 145m. Originally approved for twelve turbines in 2019, Statkraft acquired the project from Peel Energy in 2023 and reduced the number of turbines to minimize visual impact.

The application will be reviewed by Shetland Islands Council, as it remains under the 50MW threshold. Statkraft is also exploring revisions for its Beaw Field project and proposing ammonia plants near Dales Voe and Scatsta Airport.
