Poland's Synthos Green Energy and Bulgaria's Blue Bird Energy have signed a letter of intent to create a joint venture for the deployment of up to six BWRX-300 small modular reactors in Bulgaria. The partnership aims to enhance SMR development in the country, aligning with ongoing energy technology discussions and supporting Bulgaria's energy supply alongside existing projects at Kozloduy NPP. SGE is also involved in a separate project in Poland to deploy 24 BWRX-300 reactors by 2032.
