Telefónica España is launching mini data centers, known as Edge Computing nodes, to enhance data privacy and provide businesses with secure, rapid data access. Each node has a capacity of 1 to 2 MW and utilizes existing real estate for deployment. This initiative is part of a European Interest Project, receiving national recognition and €93 million in funding from the European Commission, along with further investment from Telefónica.
