TierPoint Acquires Tek Park in Lehigh Valley for $175 Million, Plans 100-Megawatt Expansion
TierPoint has acquired Tek Park, a 137-acre industrial park in Upper Macungie Township, for $175 million, finalizing the purchase in October. The facility, which includes nine buildings, was previously the headquarters for AT&T Optoelectronics.
TierPoint, based in St. Louis, was already leasing space at Tek Park, its largest data center. The company plans a 100-megawatt power expansion, expected to be completed by the second half of 2026, to meet the growing demand for digital infrastructure, particularly for artificial intelligence workloads.
This project may create up to 100 jobs at TierPoint and support around 350 construction and engineering jobs. Current tenants at Tek Park include Aesculap Biologics and Aesculap Implant Systems.
