Tilted Gate LLC is set to develop a 500,000 sq ft data center in Franklin Furnace, Scioto County, Ohio, with an estimated cost of $1 billion and a potential 75 percent tax abatement for 15 years, pending a commission vote on January 22. The company has been in discussions with a Fortune 100 tech firm since mid-2024. Additionally, New Day Data Centers LLC is proposing a data center at the former Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant in nearby Pike County, which is currently undergoing decontamination.
