Trafigura, CF Industries, and TFG Marine have signed a memorandum of understanding to create a global supply chain for low-carbon ammonia as a marine fuel, targeting the US Gulf and northwest Europe. CF Industries will utilize its facility in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, for production, while Trafigura aims to operate six ammonia-fueled vessels by 2030, building on their previous collaborations.
