TUI Group has ramped up its use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to support its emissions reduction strategy, consuming approximately 11,262 tonnes in 2021, a six-fold increase from 2020. The airline aims for net-zero emissions through operational efficiencies and sustainable practices across its portfolio, while also exploring new technologies and partnerships to enhance fuel efficiency. With SAF currently representing only 0.3% of total jet fuel consumption, TUI is committed to further expanding its use and reducing carbon emissions.
