Turkish Airlines has launched a ₺100 billion infrastructure initiative as part of its '2033 Vision,' set to begin construction on January 8, 2026, at Istanbul Airport. The project aims to create up to 36,000 jobs and includes significant developments such as the SmartIST Phase 2 to enhance cargo capacity, a new Main Catering Facility, and an Engine Maintenance Center in collaboration with Rolls-Royce. This initiative is projected to boost the airline's economic contributions from $65 billion to $144 billion by 2033.
