The UK has selected five innovative projects for its Hydrogen Innovation Initiative (HII) Demonstration Programme, aimed at advancing hydrogen technology. The projects include a hydrogen-fuelled generator, an offshore electrolyser, hydrogen systems for drones, liquid hydrogen energy generation technologies, and the first hydrogen-powered railway shunter. Supported by Innovate UK, the initiative seeks to promote hydrogen adoption and stimulate growth in the UK hydrogen sector.
