Utilidata Launches 15,000-Sq-Ft AI Innovation Lab and Headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan

Utilidata has opened a new 15,000-square-foot innovation lab and headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan, supported by a $250,000 grant from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. The lab aims to advance AI solutions for energy management, specifically for data centers and electric grids, and is expected to create 25 new jobs.
The facility will focus on testing and developing the Karman platform, which optimizes energy use in data centers and enhances grid reliability. Utilidata has partnered with NVIDIA to embed AI capabilities into power distribution systems.
