Uzbekistan Delays Nuclear Power Plant Construction by Rosatom to December

FUSION & ADVANCED NUCLEAR POWERSOLAR ENERGY

Uzbekistan has postponed the construction of its first nuclear power plant, contracted to Russia's Rosatom, from March to December due to technical and financial issues related to nuclear fuel supply. The project, featuring VVER-1000 reactors and untested RITM-200N models, aims for the first reactor to be operational by 2029.
