Vaisala has launched Origo, a modular measurement platform designed to reduce cooling waste in data centers, which currently consume about 1.5% of global energy. By enhancing measurement accuracy to ±0.1 °C, Origo could help prevent approximately $805 million in annual cooling waste, potentially saving $8 billion over a decade. The platform's adaptable design also makes it suitable for critical environments like cleanrooms and semiconductor production.
