Voltus and Octopus Energy Launch Flexibility-as-a-Service Partnership in U.S. Power Markets

Voltus and Octopus Energy have announced a partnership to offer Flexibility-as-a-Service (FaaS) and Bring Your Own Capacity (BYOC) solutions in key U.S. power markets starting in 2026. The collaboration will utilize aggregations of residential devices, such as smart thermostats and electric vehicles, to enhance Voltus's virtual power plant portfolios, addressing the increasing demand from data centers projected to rise by up to 30 GW by 2030. This initiative aims to improve load flexibility in the U.S. power sector amid growing challenges in meeting energy demands.
