SUSTAINABLE AVIATION FUEL

Washington State University has launched the Cascadia Sustainable Aviation Accelerator (CSAA) to promote the production and adoption of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), backed by $20 million in funding. The initiative aims to reduce aviation's carbon emissions by up to 80% compared to conventional jet fuel and includes partnerships with various stakeholders.
