West Virginia Secures $4 Billion Investment for First High Impact Intelligence Center
DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE
Governor Patrick Morrisey announced a $4 billion private investment by Penzance Management to establish West Virginia's first High Impact Intelligence Center in Berkeley County. The Bedington Campus will span 548 acres and is expected to create approximately 1,000 construction jobs and 125 full-time positions.
The project aims to enhance local infrastructure and community programs, with no state funding involved. The investment is supported by recent legislation facilitating energy use and permitting for data centers.
