Wrangell Economic Development Board Recommends Land Lease for Data Center

The Wrangell Economic Development Board unanimously recommended the assembly move forward with a land lease for one or two acres at the former 6-Mile Mill property for a California-based company to establish a small-scale data center. The decision is contingent upon addressing concerns related to water discharge, noise and light pollution, and potential sales tax revenue.
